CloavePrivacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Cloave collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. Cloave is built for marketers and ecommerce brands, and we treat your data — and your customers' data — the way we'd want ours treated.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following:
- Account information: your email address, and your name if you provide it
- Content you submit: ad copy, images, or video frames you upload for analysis
- Usage data: which tools you use and how often, for the free-tier daily limit and general product improvement
- Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor — Cloave never sees or stores your full card number
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar data collected automatically to keep the service secure and prevent abuse
2. How we use your information
- To provide the core service — running your ad analysis and generating Outputs
- To enforce free-tier usage limits and prevent abuse
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send you transactional emails (magic links, receipts, service updates)
- To respond when you contact support
- To improve Cloave's tools over time
3. How your ad content is processed
When you submit ad copy or media for analysis, it's sent to our AI infrastructure provider (Anthropic) solely to generate your results, under their standard API terms. We don't sell your ad content, and we don't use it to train third-party models beyond what's inherent in calling a standard AI API to produce your Output.
4. Who we share data with

We don't sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Cookies
Cloave uses essential cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your session. We don't currently use third-party advertising trackers.
6. Data retention
We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after in case you return or as required for legal/accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@cloave.com — we'll respond within a reasonable time.
8. Data security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access-controlled databases) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
9. Children's privacy
Cloave is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
10. International users
Cloave serves customers globally. By using Cloave, you understand your information may be processed in countries other than your own, by the providers listed above.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
